FIMI data reader

galactic-io-data-fimi [1] [2] is a data reader plugin for GALACTIC.

GALACTIC stands for GAlois LAttices, Concept Theory, Implicational systems and Closures.

It uses the FIMI format.

The file extension is .dat and the file format consists in describing each individual in one line using a space separated list of attribute names. For example:

It’s a tribute to the french mathematician Évariste Galois who died at age 20 in a duel. In France, Concept Lattices are also called Galois Lattices.
